New Year's Clock Countdown {Free Printable}

I couldn't believe how much fun we had with our Christmas Countdown, adding a cotton ball each day. So simple, yet great for teaching a 3 year old some larger number recognition.

I got to thinking about fun things to do on New Year's Eve.  Why not do a spin-off of the Christmas Countdown, and do a New Year's Countdown?

This free printable was born:

You can download the PDF through my Google Docs here, or click on the image above.

TRex (our 3 year old) has gotten very good at understanding time with a digital clock, but the concept of an dial clock is still foreign. I'm hoping this will serve a basic intro to the dial clock, and help him make some connections with time and where it's located on the clock. Plus it'll be a fun activity each hour.

I doubt he will make it to midnight, but this may be more fun for some older kiddos who can!

Enjoy!
